We look at lots of criteria. Important ones include the product, the market size and the market segment, the business model, the company’s early traction and of course the team. We are attracted to original, innovative uses of technology – but also to business models that have been proven to work.  We have a strong bias for great products, big markets, signs of early traction and a clear route for monetization, but we don’t expect everything to be perfect.  We also like to invest in existing companies for equity investments or to allow ownership to take cash off of the table – providing us with long term cash flow retun.
